whenyoung are planning for life after the release of their debut album and have detailed a ten-date tour of the UK for the autumn.

It will open at the Bodega in Nottingham on September 30th, and start October with a show at Manchester Gorilla. They move on to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Birmingham, London, Leeds and Southampton from there before closing at the Bristol Thekla on October 12th.

The Reasons To Dream LP is out on May 24th and has just recently had another single released from it; The Others was apparently written ‘after the Grenfell Tower fire in London’. “At this time the band’s Aoife Powers was working for a gardening company that served clients in this area, some of whom were influential politicians,” it was further explained.

“The juxtaposition between the safe homes of these politicians and the burning towerblock streets away were startling and upsetting. Living in safety should not be a luxury.”
